Cartography, uptil some time ago, was the only way of mapping or charting the globe. Map-reading and map-making is a science, the subtleties of which might not be available to every lay person. However, commercial-use maps have been available for a long time now. They are especially useful for tourists and for drivers. The major drawback of paper 2-D maps was that they have always been location or area specific. While an atlas, in theory, is a collection of maps of the whole globe, minute details can never be divined from them.
Google Earth, the latest software application from the Internet giant Google, aims to change all this. One of the main features of this application is that it promises you minutely detailed maps of any location in this world. Even pictures of man-made building, trees, parks, mountains are available, if you so desire, in 3-D. It’s a method of information gathering for any specific location in this world. Google Earth is quite simply, an extraordinary technological feat. At a stroke, it has dominated the cartographical business. All you need is a computer and an Internet connection. Just download the software and you can discover the world from your desktop.
Google Earth employs the use of satellite imagery, conventional maps and extremely sophisticated streaming technology to deliver the data to your desktop. Just type in the location in the software (powered by the award-winning Google Search) and the map is immediately available to you. Also, Google Search makes available a list of local facts about your search object. This technology makes searching for schools, parks, apartment buildings, even hotels and restaurants anywhere in the world extremely easy. Not only does it make driving instructions available to you, location to location, the software also allows you to rotate and full tilt the maps. This makes it easier for you to explore the urban location or terrain in 3-D detail.
A great number of customization tools are available for the individual user. You can bookmark or save your favorite searches and share them with family and friends. Google Earth also makes use of KML. It is a data exchange format which allows the user to add their annotations to the map or the view and also enables the sharing of this information. The map is formatted in the form of layers-with some features characteristic to each layer. For example, a specific layer would shoe the geographical features, while another will make information regarding schools, hospitals, shopping and airports available to you.

Web Directories - General Introduction
Having a web directory is becoming increasingly popular these days. It can bring many benefits such as delivering an increased amount of new visitors and providing a steady income. Google, Yahoo and MSN contribute heavily to its algorithm. Many webmasters are attracted by the fact that they can get traffic from such directories and would pay a small fee or put a reciprocal link to get their website listed in these directories. These benefits will ultimately improve the promotion of the website.
Webmasters are also very interested with inbound links for improving their PR (Page Rank) with Google. A good PR gives better position in Google’s search engine results. In theory the more quality inbound links you get, the higher your PR will go. Directories give a good solution for all webmasters. They also prove to be a good addition to existing web sites.
We can differentiate 3 types of directories: free, reciprocal-link and Pay for Inclusion directories:
1) Free directories are by far the most interesting for webmasters as they can give a high PR without having to spend a penny. However you’ll have to spend some time submitting your website to all of these. They don’t usually give you much traffic either as there is an over abundance of them on the internet.
2) Reciprocal-Link directories require placing a small link into the webmaster’s website. This can be dangerous if the directory has been black listed by Google.
3) Finally, Paid For Inclusion directories can deliver very good results as they usually give better PR and have more traffic than free directories.
However, not all directories will give you good results. Many use a redirect function for linking to your website. Your website won’t benefit from such links. You’ll need a static outgoing link from directories to gain weight with search engines. Many of the directories do offer you deep-linking options which mean that they will allow you to submit more than one URL from your domain in order to get your internal pages more traffic and ranking.
So keep in mind that directories are wholly beneficial for your websites as long as you take the time to carefully plan the submission beforehand by checking if they are not using tricks (redirects, reciprocal). Also, don’t forget to submit your website to the most relevant category on the directory and to read its description!

Your Information Should Be Sacred
If you're new to online marketing, you may be unaware of a one important fact--everyone is out to get your email address.Yep. It's true. You've heard, "The Money Is In the List," right? Well, how do you think people get lists?
But be careful.
Some people are greedy and get your email address again and again and keep sending those infernal emails about this, that, or the other thing, day after day, to every email account you own. It really gets obnoxious!
As one who would love to have your email address, too, I now have to tell you how you undoubtedly became part of a list--Lead Capture.
If you've never heard the term, you may have heard "squeeze page," and most of these pages work the same way.
A lead capture or squeeze page will have some text and graphics and one thing is always the same--the box for your name and email. Some are more elaborate and ask for your home address, your telephone number, and so on.
Any lead capture page should explain why you might want to relinquish your information and that the person/company collecting the information promises not to share it with anyone for any reason. If you're going to give your information up, these factors are requirements, not options!
When you're surfing and see a page with just a "Please Sign Up Here" and the boxes, with no information regarding the site's privacy policy or what you're signing up for--BEWARE!
You can be put on oh so many lists! Mailing lists, calling lists, and who knows what other kinds of lists. And don't forget, if you're someone who hates telemarketing calls, that by giving the information, you've rescinded your Do Not Call status in the U.S. from that particular marketer, and if the company sells or rents your phone number, well... you may have given up a lot more.
It's OK to give your information if you a) know what you're getting in return, b) know that the offer comes from a reliable source, and c) you know what will happen to your information once you provide it. The watchword online is prudence.!

Making a Website Work For You
Making the decision to start a home business and to make money online is a step in the right direction but the next important step is in learning how to promote your website so people will drop by your site, browse, like what they see and will return again and again. By working at home your ultimate goal is to attract an audience and have customers eager to purchase the products you have for sale.
Keep in mind that when people go on the Internet to search for information, they are looking for speedy results. Do not keep anyone waiting with a slow output. In other words, make sure your website has the ability to download as swiftly as possible. Patience is not a virtue known to exist for cyber seekers! It is highly recommended that you ensure that your website has a size of less than 30K. A website should have the ability to download in approximately a matter of 8 seconds (and no more than that) with the help of a 56K modem. You can make your website as elaborate or as basic in design as you wish just guarantee that it is fast so you won't have to worry about chasing any would-be customers away.
Now it is time to grab the attention of your audience once you get them to your web page. Web searchers are likely to scan your page looking for what interests them most. Their eyes will immediately pick up on headlines, subheadings and words highlighted in bold print. The number one rule when attempting to promote a website is to always keep your audience, and their specific needs in mind. This is of paramount importance. Visitors to your site want to know what you have to offer them in particular and if they don't find it, they will go elsewhere. Let people know immediately what the purpose of your website is and then inform them of how you can be of service to them. They came to your site for a reason after all- so let your message shine through loud and clear!
Two other important ways to promote your website include providing plenty of free advice/ information on your site, for example in the form of tips as well as some customer testimonials, and starting an e-mail campaign to convince potential customers to become buying customers. Have a place on your site where customers can fill in their e-mail address so you can keep them up to date on what is happening at your site. Offering a freebie of some sort would also work as a terrific incentive to encourage customers.

Let The Internet Help You Keep In Touch
Have you experienced the frustration of sending a message to a friend only to find it bounced back to you? Your friend has probably changed their email address and forgotten to tell you about it. If it’s someone you see at the pub or at work, or can contact by phone, you can just ask them to give you their new address. If email is the only contact you have, however, it becomes a lot more difficult to stay in touch.
The internet has brought us tremendous freedom of communication and competition between internet providers and email providers means that it’s never been easier to run several email addresses or to change to a new address when you feel like it. Usually, you’ll send out an email to let people know that you have a new email address, but it’s not unusual for people to be missed off the list and lose your details.
So once you discover you can’t contact your friend by email, what do you do? You can try mutual friends to see if they can pass the address on, or you can try reunion sites that help you to get in touch with old friends from school, college, work, the forces or any other groups that you might have belonged to. For that to work though, your friend has to be registered and there will usually be a subscription charge to pay before you can contact them.
Similarly, if you’ve recently changed your own email address, how do you make sure you’ve told everyone, or that you can catch people who try to get in touch after a few years of no contact?
The ideal solution is also on the internet: services that let you set up a single account for all your old email addresses. People can find you via your old details and you can be sent a message letting you know that someone’s trying to get in touch with you. Whether you respond is up to you – after all, there may be some people that you don’t want to renew your friendship with. But for most people, online services like these help you to ensure that everyone who wants to get in touch with you can; or that you can find someone you thought you’d lost touch with for ever.

Why Would I Want A Link Partner?
If you are new to the internet marketing world then the the question "why link partner?" is a very valid one. If you are not new to the game then you have no business asking the question because you know very well that it is one of the most powerful techniques to get your name and/or product out on the web. The more you are spread across the internet like this the more the search engines are going to see you and recognize you as desirable for their rankings.
So how do you link partner when you don't know a lot of people out there let alone people who would want to, or know how to link partner with you. Another valid question and I'm glad you asked because in the next several paragraphs I'm going to tell you just how to do it.
Link partnering is a strategy that many people have put a lot of time into developing. This means that if you want to link partner, there are many people who "have gone before you," and therefore are great resources of valuable information. These people run seminars, have written books, and have developed many tools to make this a very profitable endeavor. Once you learn the basics, the trick is to do it on a scale that makes a difference on the bottom line.
The trick to ramping up scale is to purchase (or develop your own if you have the time) a tool that automates most of the processes involved in forming a link partner. These include finding sites that you want to have links on, contacting the person who owns and/or runs the site and requesting the right to have a link on their page, and (most of the time) then putting their link on your page in return.
These tools allow you to do all of this in a very fast, very professional (and therefore successful) manner so that you start to see results instantly. I am talking about hundreds and maybe even thousands of new link partners per day. Sounds good right? Let me tell you it is one of the best profit increasers for internet selling that i know. I strongly recommend that you do some research--spending time learning the value of a link partner and the best way to go about getting lots of them.

Get Rich Quick Scams on the Internet
May 16, 2006
From the desk of J. Robert Gentry(senior reviewer)
Wouldn’t it be nice to make a bundle of money quickly, with little effort and within the comfort of your own home? It certainly would. Personally, I would love to only work a few hours per week and have more time with my wife and son without a boss looking over my shoulder.
Whether it’s filling out surveys, real estate investing, investing in the stock market or affiliate marketing, we’ve all seen the websites that show us how to make lots of money and how easy their particular program is. About 99% of those programs are complete frauds. You may have fallen into these fraudulent traps. I can honestly say I have too. I can’t count how many get rich quick schemes I have fallen prey to. I tend to look for the positives in people and was sold by many of these marketing schemes. I finally got tired of being used and abused.
After contacting all of the get rich quick websites, I found there was only one honest website that offered only the best business opportunities on the market today. In fact, there were three businesses on this particular website that stood above and beyond the rest from anything else I’ve ever seen. I have tried each one and I can say that they are the most honest business opportunities on the internet today.
They do charge a minimal fee for access to their services, which is legitimate for any business that has people on their staff that wants to help you succeed in your business. What a nice group of people! Anyway, if you do decide to go to this website, I advise you to join as soon as possible because the owner has informed me that they are getting members by word of mouth referrals and they will be closing off membership completely in the next month. (You didn’t hear this me!) They don’t have enough staff to accommodate more members and still provide excellent customer service.
I was thoroughly disappointed by most of the Get Rich programs I’ve tried and failed with which is why I strongly advise that you do not take any chances joining any other programs other than the one I have listed. Whatever you do, I wish you a healthy and wealthy year for you and your family.
All the best,
Signed,
J. Robert Gentry

The latest Internet Buzz: Keyword Sites?
Can you remember when the MillionDollarHomePage.com launched last year? Just a few days after the page got online, it received loads of traffic and soon became one of the sites on the internet! Thousands of people were visiting this web site because it was something completely new and totally different to any other site-concept before. Advertisers on the site received tons of traffic.
And because this seemed to be highly profitable, soon hundreds of so called pixel ad pages sprung up online to copy the success. We all know the story: only the first time movers got the big advantage in monetizing this new strategy.
Just right now there is a new buzz going around on the Internet that even seems to top the success of those pixel ad pages:
Keyword sites are popping up all over the internet right now.
Haven’t seen them?
Check this out for example: www.getyourword.com
Looks pretty simple, don't you think so?
Now here’s the secret behind those word sites (or word cloud sites, key word pages) - actually it’s not a secret just a proven proven fact: Image ads really do nothing for search engine indexing – but text links will do.
And that’s what these sites are built for: they will get you highly targeted keyword links to your websites. And as you know incoming keyword links are crucial for successful search engine optimization.
How do they work?
The keyword sites are a simple website containing a number of key words. Each word can be bought by you and so this word will become a text word link to your website. You can select various options when purchasing the text word, such as different font designs, bold or italic text and different colour choices. You have to pay a basic fee for the standard word and then additional charges are added for the different font, text and color options.
It’s as simple as that…
And keyword pages got another huge advantage over the pixel sites: Do you remember the mess of images, tons of sites being advertised on the pixel pages? You couldn't tell one ad from another. Keyword pages are clean, easy-to-read and practical. Just simplified.
I bet that these keyword sites will be the next big buzz on the internet advertising scene and that those who get in early and set up their own keyword site will make the big money. Just remember the success of the pixel ad pages.

What I Discovered About Global Resorts Network - Part One
I've been involved in Internet Businesses for quite a few years....even before we retired. We were fortunate to be able to retire early, thanks in part to the Internet. I've had success with some programs, as well as paying my dues and acquiring an expensive education with unsuccessful programs. But I've certainly learned a lot. And one of the most important things I've learned is that things are constantly changing on the Internet. What worked last year might not work this year or a new strategy will work better (more on this later).
A real business with a real quality product, that is worth the cost, is important to me. Although, I confess I've gotten caught up in a few "money games" and questionable programs along the way.
Anyway, last year my main business company was going down, although I was still working it. I started looking to see what else was out there. I saw several programs selling ebooks and software for a hefty price...many of them were available for free or a low cost if one searched. And other programs with good products that were over-priced. And some other programs with some good products, but hard to understand and explain to justify the cost. Many now days are 1 or 2-up programs, where you just make money on your sales with no opportunity for residual income. And a lot were probably good programs, but were not capable of producing a great income without recruiting tons of people into a matrix.
And then I was introduced to Global Resorts Network by my sponsor in a couple of previous programs. When I saw it and studied the product, I was thrilled. We love to travel and own a couple of timeshare weeks and enjoy staying in luxury resort condos. It's so much nicer than just a hotel room.
But time shares can be frustrating. It can be hard to exchange for when and where you want to travel. And the fees keep going up...there are maintenance fees, exchange fees and subscription fees, plus the initial cost of buying a week...which can be tens of thousands. We pay over $1000 a year in these fees. So when I saw the GRN Platinum Lifetime membership for only $3000, I was excited. We could get rid of our timeshare weeks and not have to pay all of the fees. And with the Global Resorts Network membership, now we pay only for what we actually use...as low as $298 for a full week in a luxury resort condo!

Internet Marketing Novice Appeals To Web Gurus
A web business is my last chance to suceed in the economic world and I'm counting on you Internet marketing gurus for help. All your ads hype (and hype and hype and hype) the promise of your invaluable assitance.
Surly a few months of being an Internet Mogul and I'll be flush with success, just like you. All you gurus say I can do it, if I only buy your (terribly overpriced) products.
If I'm on a budget, $99 bucks will get me your hot-shot eBook with the 10 Magic Secretes of the Rich and Powerful. You know, the ones like you who work ten minutes a day in your silk jammies, don't know a bit of HTML yet rake in millions on the net.
Of course it's not worth the $99 that was so conveniently tacked onto my credit card bill in a nano-instant after I clicked here.
To really learn the secrets of you gurus, I gotta spend some money. After all, the honest ones among you will confess those free reports you give away aren't even worth that much.
So for a mere $997, I can get a glimpse of your incredible wisdom sloppily photocopied and loaded into 3-ring binders. Ten-thousand pages. Delivered to my door. Ah, the personal touch!
Is there a better learning system out there? This mogul needs better training is she's going to succeed.
Sorry, I'm not trying to insult anyone, certainly not a rich guy I'm seeking help from. I'm just giving you that honest feedback you asked for. It's not my fault that you weren't really sincere with that request.
How about stoping the sales pitches for a second and giving me some real information? How about assuming, just for a brief moment, that I'm slighly smarter than a monkey? (Only slightly, mind you.)
Don't tell me I can make 20 gazillion dollars while sound asleep and then follow it up with an admonishment that the internet is not a get rick quick scheme.
Didn't you just tell me that it was?
Oh, I get it. That's just a marketing ploy to make me beg you to take my money. Besides, you assure me, some people DO get rick quickly on the internet.
You and your buddies selling crap to people like me, that's whose getting rich quick on the internet.

Make A Fortune On The Internet
Think You Can Top Yahoo?
Do you want to make a fortune on the Internet? Sure, we all do. People use the Internet to work from home everyday, and many of them earn a living from it. But is it really possible to make a fortune on the Internet?
Well, that depends on what your idea of a fortune is. If working from the Internet allows you to pay your bills, put food on the table, gas in the car, and clothes on Little Johnny’s back, then yes, it is indeed possible to make a fortune on the Internet. However, if you are thinking in numbers closer to the upper hundreds of thousands, millions, and even billions then the likelihood of being able to make a fortune on the Internet is probably not too great. Not impossible, mind you (think Michael Dell of Dell Computers, Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Pierry Omidyar of Ebay, and David Filo of Yahoo!—all are worth billions of dollars today), just not too great.
Many websites claim to be able to help you make a fortune on the Internet. Be careful with these. Usually they are scams that try to get you to purchase materials and equipment for something that won’t be successful, if it even exists. They’ll throw ridiculously high numbers at you, promising you can make that amount if you follow their plan. Some websites, however, are very clear in their definition of what a fortune is. For example, if you visit a website that claims you can make a fortune on the Internet by completing online surveys at twenty-five dollars each, you’re probably safe. They are honest about the money you would make, and you are smart enough to know that unless you complete thousands of surveys a month, you aren’t going to be able to make a fortune on the Internet using this plan. But if you need some extra cash for the holidays, go for it.
Your dream to make a fortune on the Internet is similar to the dreams of so many others. And, though it’s not an impossible dream, it’s not an easily possible one, either. Have patience, do research, and most importantly, come up with something bigger than Yahoo!

The Internet And Finding People
Remember that hilarious guy you met at the casino on your last cruise? What about that best friend you had from the high school you transferred from your sophomore year? What about that long lost crush; how is she? Everyone needs to find someone at sometime in their life, and sometimes that can be difficult. Short of hiring a private detective, there are few options available. With the proliferation of the Internet, there is another place to turn.
An easy place to begin is the Internet white pages. Think of these sites as a gigantic phonebook with listings for people all over the country and even the world. The downfall of these types of sites is that it is usually difficult to locate the exact person you are trying to find, and it may be awkward and time consuming calling up 150 people named “Michael Brown.” There are, however, other places to turn.
Many Internet sites now claim to be experts on finding personal information. Any of these sites can be found by loading Google in your browser and searching for “find people.” Of course, these sites charge a fee, from small to large, to present you with all the information you could ask for. These sites offer you address, phone number, cell phone number, email address, job record, credit reports, criminal records, and much more. Some sites even claim that this is a great way to learn about prospective dating partners! It may be smart to first try the service with your own name to see exactly how it works and what information is available.
If you wish to learn more about relative and your family’s ancestors, there are sites that can help you do this as well. They will help you retrace your family roots right up until you can find your actual relatives that immigrated to the United States (the website is actually created by Ellis Island).
Overall, these sites are great for finding someone you want to contact. However, they do seem like they interfere with people’s privacy. Do you really want to know that that hilarious guy in the casino has gone bankrupt 3 times since the cruise? Come on!

The Benefits Of Online Shopping
Most Americans are pre programmed to question the validity of what might otherwise seem to be a great deal, and with good reason. We often times find ourselves digging through "the fine print" in an attempt to uncover the truth about a great deal.
There really are no cookie cutter solutions to online shopping. The three most important things you want to look for before you make your purchases online are, a money back guarantee, a security certificate, and a good listing with the Better Business Bureau.
The main benefit to online shopping is price. The difference between buying online and a retail store is the cost to get that product in front of the consumer, including shipping, advertising and storage which in the end comes out of your pocket.
With online products, advertising is cheap in comparison to retail outlet advertising. There are no employees needed to stock the shelves, and no stores to pay taxes or utilities on, resulting in less out of pocket expense for you on the same product.
When Americans go shopping, they like to inspect the product first. This is not possible online. Therefor many large companies are willing to offer products for free with a service agreement. You'll never see this in a retail store short of buy one get one.
Lets not forget about convenience. No crowds, no check out lanes to wait in, no having to fill up the gas tank, you get the idea. Online shopping even makes it possible to send gifts to loved ones across the country without leaving your home.
Promotional offers online are endless. There are so many of them we take them for granted. The common misconception being, it will be there tomorrow. Don't kid yourself my friend, the market changes daily and so do the offers. Here today, gone tomorrow.
Sure, there will always be promotional offers online, but this doesn't mean it will be one that is going to best suite your needs. If you find an offer that fits the bill, my advice to you is take it. Why not? It's what you were looking for right? Happy shopping.

Spiritual Web Site Sees Significant Growth
DailyWord, a 21st-century outgrowth of the Daily Word magazine, has grown from an initial user base of 150 to more than 30,000 since its launch in March 2005.
"Our goal was to make Daily Word conveniently available to as many people as possible at any time, day or night," said Tom Zender, president and chief executive officer of Unity, the publisher of the magazine. "More and more people are turning to the Internet for spiritual guidance and enrichment, so to serve spiritual seekers well, we needed to be where they are."
Daily Word has been published since 1924, making it the oldest continually published daily inspirational magazine in the nation. The print version is published in seven languages and has more than 1 million readers in at least 180 countries and territories around the world.
Unity is a transdenominational organization based near Kansas City, Mo., whose goal is to help people of all faiths apply positive spiritual principles to their lives.
Besides offering access to daily messages of inspiration, DailyWord.com provides messages that reflect on current events. DailyWord.com was able to respond quickly with a request for affirmative prayers for the victims of the tsunami in Southeast Asia, the hurricanes in the U.S., the earthquake in Pakistan and the mining accident in West Virginia.
DailyWord also offers premium privileges to paid members. For example, members can share thoughts and feelings about daily messages or other spiritual-related topics in the Daily Word Cafe.
"Another benefit for paid members is the online Daily Word archives. We now have all Daily Word messages included in the DailyWord.com archives going back to 1924. This is a total of more than 25,000 individual daily inspirational messages," said Zender. "People love to search these archives to find the messages from significant milestone dates in their lives or in history. Many members tell us they e-mail specific messages to their friends or print them for keepsakes."
Zender said the percentage of trial members who decide to stay with DailyWord has been outstanding.
"We're so gratified that 98 percent of our members stay with us beyond their 14-day free trial period," he said. "This tells us people are receiving from Daily Word.com the spiritual content and inspiration they need."

Using search engine gateway smarter to find your information
Today, I want to share with you how I use search engine gateway to find information. For those of you who know the term “search engine gateway” for the first time, I strongly recommend you to read the article “What is search engine gateway?” I wrote before and go to Navino’s website to see how it works.
Put it in simple, by adding a short search name, which represents one website, before the search keywords, I can search hundreds of search engines with just one search box. Search engine gateway gets the search name information and forwards me to the pre-defined search engine. For example, Navino defines “b” as Google’s blog search engine. So if I want to search something on “Linux”, I just use “b Linux” in my search box and the search gateway would forward me to Google’s blog search engine with the keyword “Linux”.
Navino has already defined some search names for most popular search engines. These search engines are assigned with one-letter search names for easy use. Some of them are Google, Yahoo’s stock information, Weather.com’s weather information, and dictionary.com’s dictionary search. Navino also allows you to recommend search names for some websites, but those search names are required to be approved for wide public interesting only.
Sometimes, a few search engines I want to use are not in Navino’s public search name database. Therefore, Navino also allows me to define private search names for personal use only. These search names are not required to be approved and can be used immediately after define.
One more trick when I use search engine gateway is, I define private search names as a shortcut to my favorite websites. For example, I defined “h” for Hotmail.com. When I want to check my email, I just put “h” in the search box and the gateway will forward me accordingly to the hotmail website.
I hope this article can help you to use search engine gateway better and smarter. And I also want to hear from you about your story how to use search engine gateway in the near future. Enjoy!

How To Succeed With Private Label Rights
The latest craze online is buying private label rights to various products.
The concept is a great one; you purchase the rights to something and then you're free to edit it, put your name on it, and basically do whatever you like with it.
Sounds great right? Wrong!
There are a lot of problems with Private Label Rights products
The main problem is that most people who buy them will never use them. Sure it sounds like a great deal, but if you don't have a plan to use the private label rights product and put it into action, you're just wasting your money.
Once you store it away on your hard drive, it'll be stuck there.
This applies to resale rights as well...only purchase what you plan to use immediately or in the very near future.
Aside from that, my main gripe with private label rights is that they're usually complete junk!
Whatever you do, please follow this advice: If you are not a programmer or have extensive knowledge with scripts or software, do not purchase private label rights to them!
You'll most likely be stuck with a non-working copy of a software product that will require a lot of money to get working.
You could also be under the impression that it works and then your customers will be upset and asking for refunds left and right
Be smart. Only purchase what you plan to use at that moment or in the near future, and don't buy scripts or software unless you're comfortable with programming (or have someone who can handle fixing them and can help you with support).
This can seriously damage your reputation, and as an Internet Marketer, a good reputation is extremely valuable. You must protect it at all costs.
Do your homework. Make sure you are buying private label rights to a quality product that has potential, not some piece of garbage that you will never use.
Stick with what you're comfortable with, and private label rights will allow you to create some great, unique products!

The truth about paid surveys
You may have been enticed in many of the emails for taking part in surveys. Surveys are conducted for collecting your precious opinion about a product or a company or a brand. Opinions of many people when analyzed create an understanding about that product or brand or company. Online paid surveys is a recent introduction to the art and science of surveys. Surveys have existed for almost 100 years in its scientific form as it exists today. Paid forms of survey has become popular because of two major reasons - people get bugged with traditional paper pencil survey at home and secondly, participating in an online survey is easy and non interfering.
Companies pay for participating in a survey - this is to increase the number of people taking part in the survey, who otherwise may skip to avoid. You are compensated in a paid survey in different ways by various survey conducting agencies - you may be paid cash (or check), through Paypal. Some agencies don't pay cash, but offer you points. These points can be converted into gifts or certificates. There are various levels of gifts and certificates against the number of points accumulated by the survey participant.
The money that can be made by you by participating is a survey can never be enough to run your family. Don't be misguided by this reality of life. While theoretically it is not impossible, data suggests that you can just about make enough money to make those extra payments or buy that extra something in your life.
The number of surveys that can be taken by you in a month or year depends on your demographic, geographic and psychographics profile. You should fit into the qualifying criteria definition of the participants for a particular survey. While the agency may have one survey running per day, you certainly will not fir into all of them. This restricts you to not more than 5-10 surveys per month.
There are few things to be kept in mind while trying to get into the world of paid survey participation. Don't ever pay a single dollar for participating in a survey. No research agency will charge you a cent for participating. Better is to research the web for the sites for paid surveys, get yourself registered with the information and expect the surveys to be sent to you over a period of time.

Learn About Wholesale Distribution Companies
Whole sale distribution companies have proliferated over the last few years. The main reason attributable is the expansion of the online marketing and internet. The internet opened up new opportunities for large scale marketing of a variety of consumer and other products without any worries of owning and maintaining a physical store or sales force.
The demand for the various fast moving products from a cross section of internet marketing community has triggered the birth of many whole sale distribution companies offering products at varying and competitive discounts to be resold to the online consumers.
Whole sale distribution companies though have mushroomed in the recent past the fact remains that few of them are genuine whole sale companies and the rest being simple middlemen. The chain of such companies operating today are benefited of varying discounts, and the ultimate internet entrepreneur is devoid of the product for the genuine whole sale price.
Whole sale companies that are genuine and established exhibits reservations for supplying to small volume internet operators that leads to the above mentioned situation. Further the inability of the back end supplier somewhere in chain to supply the article leaves you in the lurch with the only gain of a bunch of unsatisfied and angry customers.
The unhealthy middlemen chaining ultimately leaves very less margin for the tail ender. One should not be lured by the catchy advertisements one sees on the whole sale distribution and its merits. You are well advised to have a pragmatic approach and objective assessment in respect of such lucrative offers irrespective of the fact whether you are a prospective internet entrepreneur or a an enthusiastic consumer.
However, there are still a lot of wholesale companies on the internet where you can get great products at a great discount. But as with everyhting these days: you have to be careful and make sure you are not being scammed.

What is UDP?
UDP, or User Datagram Protocol, is one of the several core protocols of the standard Internet protocol suite. By making use of UDP, it is possible for programs that are found on various computers connected by a network to send short messages back and forth. Known as datagrams, these quick and easy message make use of very little in the way of system resources, and are secure point to point communications.
When Was UDP Developed?
The earliest creation of UDP took place before the widespread use of the Internet by the general public. Developed in 1980, UDP was the brain child of David P. Reed. Reed looked for a quick and easy way to communicate between computers on a network that did not have to go through the usual protocols, or use up the same amount of resources. In order to accomplish this, Reed created the format for quick communication that compressed the message into a datagram and did a point to point delivery. Because of the secure nature of UDP, this made the protocol ideal for the delivery of proprietary documents that had been compressed.
How Is UDP Used In General?
Along with use for quick messages between users on the same network, UDP also can interface with several different network applications. Domain Name Systems, or DNS is one such application. Various streaming media applications, both voice and video make use of UDP. Such applications as IPTV, Voice over Internet Protocol, a variety of online games, and Trivial File Transfer Protocol all work with the use of UDP.
What is the Relationship Between UDP and TCP?
Both TCP and UDP are commonly used in business situations. The two applications are usually balanced in their use, and it is possible to make use of each one depending on the circumstances. TCP, however, is usually focused on such applications as accounting software, order taking and fulfilling software, and similar types of key systems that businesses use daily. By contrast, the use of UDP will focus more on the transmission of voice in video using VoIP and VVoIP to conduct virtual meetings, sales presentations, and other similar business related tasks.
Some programmers complain that the presence of UDP can undermine the functionality of TCP. However, this can usually be corrected by structuring the design of the network to allow for the dual use of both types of protocols.

Work at Home scams
Work at home has become such a rage with the advent of internet that it has evolved into an industry on its own. As with almost all other industries, this too has been infested with scamsters trying to con you. In fact, this devil is more at work in this industry due to the basic demerits of the functionality. These demerits are actually the merits - no physical presence. The reason the online or work at home industry elevated to this level is because you don't need to arrive at a particular place called office, and still work can be executed with equal productivity and efficiency. This has been exploited by the conmen to their advantage. Here is a list of things you should keep in mind while trying to enter into the world of work at home.
Don't pay for the membership or subscription fees at the first glance. You will come across thousands of websites claiming instant work and profits. Remember, it is not so easy when practiced. Secondly, there will be lot of competition for the work on offer. Study and research these sites thoroughly before you invest a single cent on these. Get as much information about the employer before you make any commitment towards spending some money. Genuine employers will never ask for any money for the employment opportunities.
Enter into the forums on work at home. You will come across people from all over the world discussing the idea and problems associated with work at home. Some of them will also be seen complaining about the opportunity they were trapped in. Make a list of such websites about whom there are frequent complaints. It is always better to avoid such scamsters.
Envelope stuffing scheme has been the king of all scams in the history of work at home industry. The scamsters claim that you will be paid for stuffing the envelopes. Apply wisdom here - why a company will pay you one dollar for stuffing one envelope. Similar schemes have evolved with the main principle in place. You will be asked to pay for the membership to start data entry work. Once paid, you will be asked to place the ad of the same site at various places. If you receive X amount of positive responses, then you will be paid Y amount. In reality, such scamsters don't have any work available for you. They work on the pyramid or gold ring scheme to con more people making you as their front agent.

The Easy Way Of Getting Free One Way Links
Fact: One way links push your site up the rankings in Google as well as many other leading search engines. Reciprocal linking are by no means ‘dead’, however when it comes down to using your time effectively, then you will find that you will get many more rewards with greater results in the serps with one way linking.
So now you know that it’s going to help, I want to show you a few ways that you can get a head start.
Articles: This is one of the best ways to get inbound links as it also helps to build you a solid and well formed reputation. You can submit articles on a whole range of topics on thousands of article directories all over the internet. For each article that you post you can place at least one inbound link in it that points towards your site. This link can be palace in your ‘Author Bio’. Any articles that you submit will want to be ‘keyword enriched’, which means that it will have to mention several times a term that you think people will use to search for you site. Once you have your article you will need to submit it to some online directories. For this, quantity is just as good as quality. For a better distribution that is done automatically for you I suggest that you use http://www.isnare.com
Directory Submissions: Directories can be found all over the net and they certainly should not be ignored as they are a very important part of any linking strategy. Just like article directories there are thousands out there. I suggest that if you can’t be bothered submitting yourself than you can use http://www.best-web-directories.com
One thing to remember is that each link that you get, helps to push you up the Google ranks. Don’t go over the top and sit there for days at a time as this will only lead to burnout and you will not get anywhere. Set yourself a goal of submitting to say 10-20 directories and in no time you will have thousands completed.

To Succeed Online You Must Be Sexy
Did the title of this article catch your attention?
I hope it did, because this will be one of the most important articles you ever read.
You can read dozens of articles on how to succeed at Internet Marketing.
You can buy dozens of ebooks and buy dozens of courses on how to be a successful Internet Marketer.
That is all very important information, and it will certainly be crucial to your Internet Marketing success.
It's not the most important thing, though.
The most important factor is: Being “Sexy.”
Confused?
Let me explain. People are flocking to the Internet at a very rapid rate. The dream of succeeding online is very real, and very attainable.
Because of this, it is very difficult to tell the true experts/gurus from the frauds.
You can be a guru or a fraud, and people may never know which.
They will, however, know your personality, your writing style, and your character.
You must make your visitors and clients remember you by being unique...by being different...by being “Sexy.”
Being “Sexy” online is different than in the offline world. You can be overweight and unattractive, but as an Internet Marketer you can still be “Sexy.”
Don't try to be traditional, be different.
Don't try to be boring, be controversial.
The Internet Marketing world is full of cookie cutter people and websites. If one person is successful everyone will try to copy that person. That may have worked years ago but cookie cutter people and websites do not work as well as they used to. Uniqueness is a desired quality. You can emulate someone’s success and learn from their tactics, but implement them in your own way.
Enjoy yourself! Don't be afraid to show others your personality, and people will come back to you again and again.
A firm knowledge of your business and having the necessary skills is an absolute necessity, but if you're not "Sexy," it will be that much more difficult for you to succeed.

What My Friend Taught Me!
If you are anything like me, you’ve always wanted to discover a way to have an extra stream of monthly income. But what I didn’t want was another job! I wanted money rolling-in around the clock, 24/7. No matter what I was doing or where I was spending my time. I wanted more money, I needed more money to pay my bills! If this is what you are looking for, then this will be the most exciting article you’ll ever read!
You see I wanted something that I could set-up and just let it run on auto-pilot. Something that wouldn’t really require much work, something I could put together during my spare time. My goal was just to obtain an extra $500 a month.
Within 60 days of starting, I couldn’t believe all the money I had made!
Think about where you are today financially… Don’t let yourself in up like all those people still working 9-5 for a living. I think its call a JOB (just over broke). Today more then ever you can’t count on your company to be there when you need them! You must think for the future and create your own retirement. With the price of everything always going up (especially gas) your going to need extra money to help pay those bills.
The other nice thing about this extra income avenue is you can do it whenever you have some spare time. There’s no deadline to meet. Don’t have to drive to get there. Best of all… There’s no boss to answer too! Heck, if you focused yourself, you could be making a full time income in no time at all. That’s where I’m at today!
What I wanted to share with all of you is starting your very own online Internet Home Business. Start it right from home, while watching your favorite TV show. My friend shared with me his 10-step Work At Home plan. And I want to share what I learned with you!
You can do this without a college education, experience, a large amount of capital, raw talent or luck…
Belief enough in yourself to take a chance. Enough to put the principles into action. That’s all it takes a little effort. And in no time at all you'll be more than half way to a lifestyle most people can only dream about.
Good luck and much success to everyone!

If It Looks Too Good To Be True, It Probably Is
In today's virtual society, online fraudsters continue to devise new ways to reach unsuspecting consumers. According to the Internet Crime Complaint Center, online fraud is on the rise--up 67 percent in 2004. Awareness is the best protection against these cyber criminals.
"The best approach to combat Internet fraud is to stay one step ahead of criminals," said Marcel Legrand, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development, Monster.
Here are some common scams:
• Fraudulent online sales are the largest source of consumer fraud complaints, according to the Federal Trade Commission. Fraudulent sellers deceive buyers by sending an item of lesser value, sending stolen or counterfeit items or sending nothing--while disappearing with your money.
Tip: Research the seller's reputation with the Better Business Bureau, read all fine print associated with the transaction and pay through a trusted site.
• Phishing is when criminals send online communications to Internet users disguised as an e-mail or pop-up message from a reputable company. The message may contain errors and request an account update to lure users into sharing their personal data.
Tip: Don't click on links provided in a suspicious e-mail. Just clicking on a link can let viruses infiltrate your computer. Instead, call the company or go to their Web site to update information.
• Job scams most often appear as "work from home" offers, claiming that you can make easy money while you "set your own hours" or "be your own boss." These scams sometimes require prospective employees to provide personal information, make a down payment or cash foreign checks with the promise of retaining a percent of the transaction.
Tip: According to Monster's "Be Safe" site (http://help.monster.com/besafe), online job seekers should never provide personal information unless they are confident that the other party is who it claims to be. Seekers should also disregard e-mails offering employment opportunities that involve acting as a go-between for money transfers. Verify the legitimacy of a potential employer before engaging in any monetary transactions or providing information.

Watch your mouth!
Internet users are very autonomous and self-directed people. With this in mind, you will have to echo those character traits and use the right tone of voice to fit with them. You should also be very careful and really watch your mouth while talking with them, since they are just one click away to your competitors.
There is no correct tone of voice and approach towards interacting with website visitors. There are millions of them, and each of them is right for a certain type of website and business. What you can have in mind in all the cases is:
• To master the right tone, try to think about what your potential customer really likes, what is he interested in and what can catch his attention;
• Always be clear and direct while talking with your website visitors (your clients have enormous choice);
• Be fast with providing response. It is better to give partial information immediately than the whole information and be late. Remember: Internet is all about immediacy and people are sick of WWWait - language;
• Filter everything to its core, but be sure to keep the tone that fits with your corporate identity;
• Throw away the dictatorial tone and use more pleasurable and persuasive voice;
• Try to avoid incomprehensible and offensive words;
• Write active sentences and engage visitors - do not use passive sentences. E.g. "You will be informed upon this issue" can be "We will inform you about the prices"
• Strive not to use superlatives and claim that your products are incredible or astonishing. People have had enough of the everyday sales hype;
• In any case: try not to be very persistent and try to oversell - they will surely notice it and they hate talking to sales people.
• Give your website visitors their space and they will be grateful. Dante Alighieri once wrote: "Liberty is the prevention of control by others".

Unique Content Is Your Key To Success!
As you search around this article site looking for articles to add to your website, consider this: there are probably 10 people like yourself doing the same exact thing. Not only are they doing the same exact thing, but they are probably looking at, and taking the same articles you are considering to add to their site.
Wow. That’s going to do wonders for your hopes to have search engines pick up these new articles and rank your site high in the search engine result pages (S.E.R.P’s). Forgive my brevity, but I was being sarcastic!
Shared articles may be good for putting together quick sites and heavily promoting the same article content that everyone else is promoting, but who are we kidding? Wouldn’t you rather have fresh content NOT picked over by everyone else? Of course you would. Now why should you pay for it when you’re staring at a free article site filled with 100’s of articles that you can use at this exact moment?
Because you CAN buy originality and have original content rank higher than the same old retread articles found over and over again on sites like this! Not only would you have a unique page indexed on the internet and crawled by search engines (sometimes daily), but if you had the right content service at your beck and call, you could be provided with professionally written content reserved for trade publications and offline magazines! There are 1000’s of professional writers out there on the Internet which are willing and able to write your next piece of web content.
Ok, so to go over the key points:
• Copied articles used over and over again- not so good since the search engines may pick up someone else’s copy of the same exact article. Cost effective since it’s free! You get what you pay for.
• Fresh, unique articles- very good usage since it gives the search engines something new to eat up! You get what you pay for.
• Do your research. Find a writer who is professional and understands your subject!

Los 7 Mejores Musicales
Aquí te presento una lista de las películas mas destacadas en la sección de musicales para que disfrutes y entretengas.
La novicia rebelde (The Sound of Music):

Using Directory Submissions To Build Inbound Links
There are literally 100's of free directories out there that you can submit your website to, and build inbound, one way links to your website. But it really helps to follow several guidelines to get the most benefit from these free directories.
Rule #1: Read the rules
Most directories have a list of rules that your listing must comply with to be accepted. Some directories have a very particular set of specifications, and if your submitted listing does not meet them, it will be deleted without a second glance.
So it is in your best interest to read the rules. If a particular directory does not have a list of rules, you can probably use a set of rules such as:
1- Submit your homepage url only
2- No promotional language or keyword stuffing in the title & description
3- Submit to the deepest sub category possible
Rule #2: Anchor text
As with all inbound links, you want to strive to get your keywords in the anchor text of the links. With directories, you have an additional challenge, as many of them require that you use your official site name as your title. So you may have to compromise.
Rule #3: Vary your anchor text
Another general rule of link building that applies to directory submissions is to vary your anchor text a little so that the links do not look artificial to the search engines.
Rule #4: Use legitimate information
Submit your real name, email, etc when you submit your website. Your link is much more likely to be approved if you do. If possible, use an email address at the domain you are submitting. Many directories like this, as it indicates that you are the owner of the site.
Just follow these rules to build 100% free inbound links to your website with directory submissions. And of course, you can even start your own directory to build more back links, but that's another story all-together.

How to Bypass Websense
Websense is a software application that is designed to prevent access to web sites with material that is deemed inappropriate or in some manner not related to the purposes of the owner of the computer system or network. Businesses often make use of Websense or a similar product in order to prevent employees from wasting company time viewing web sites that are not related to the work tasks.
Of course, the blocking of some web sites can also slow down the efficiency of an employee as well. Because Websense functions in part by checking for banned keywords, it is possible to block a site that in fact would be of use in carrying out a job related task. When this is the case, there are a couple of alternatives.
Use a Web Proxy
Perhaps the quickest way to circumvent the use of Websense is by making use of a proxy site to conduct searches and browsing activity. Essentially, Websense is reading the proxy site info and not the information of the web site you are actually browsing. This approach will not take much more time than going through your usual broswer, and will save you a lot of frustration. There are several excellent web proxy sites that you can use.
Essentially, what allows a proxy site to circumvent Websense is the way that the site looks up web pages. By conducting what is called an HTTPS search, the proxy site is accessing through a secure server. Websense does not tend to block secure sites.
Try HTTP Tunneling
Another way to get around Websense is to simply tunnel through the program. There are several software packages on the market today that will do just that. A number of these program will also help you wipe the history of your activities, if that is something you desire. This feature essentially allows you to spoof your own Internet browsing activity, that is make it appear you were doing something other than what you were doing. Many of these tunneling software programs can be purchased and downloaded with ease, and can appear to be completely innocuous. The purchase price is reasonable in most cases, and will help keep things around the office a little more sedate.
