Getting Started Making Money On The Internet: Finding Your Passion

One of the hardest decisions to make concerning starting a home business is what kind of business to start! Research proves that in order to have the determination and drive to grow a business, you need to have an emotional investment in it. 9 times out of 10 that requires having a passion for what you do. However, a lot of women wanting to work at home mistakenly believe they don’t have a marketable talent or skill. Here is how any woman can find a niche for her business that will tap into her personal passions!

First off, you will need an idea notebook. This is a great tool for the learning process, and you will use it in all three steps of Women-on-the-Net.com’s step by step approach! It can be as simple as a 79 cent spiral notebook. A highlighter is also helpful to help you pick out the ideas you want to implement. You may even wish to have 3 highlighter colors, that way, after every day’s notetaking session, you can highlight with one color, the “No way that’s not for Me’s”, another color for the “Maybe, I’ll look into it more’s” and the last color for “YES, PERFECT’s!” This will make it easier to put together a business plan later. (Don’t let the idea of a business plan scare you…it is for your benefit only, and does not have to be complicated.)

Now, in order to propel your passion, you need to have a mission statement. Write on the first page of your notebook all the reasons you want to start a business, large and small. Now put the 3 most important reasons in positive sentence form, such as…”I will create a profitable business where I can create a better financial future for myself and my family, create pride within myself, and make a difference in this world and my community.” (Feel free to steal that one if it works for you!)

Your reasons are very personal, and no one will see this but you, but it is important to have this statement written down, to give you strength in the days nothing seems to go right! And trust me, there will be a few. But in the long run, keep your eye on your mission, and you can succeed!

Next, you need to find your passion. In a column on the next page, start listing all the things you can think of that you have ever enjoyed. Putting on kid’s birthday parties? Put it down. Reading about fine art? It goes down too. Bake a killer cheesecake? Enjoy reading to the blind? At this point, don’t limit yourself, you will edit later. And don’t limit to things you feel you have a talent or skill for, just enjoyment. (There are many ways to gain knowledge and skill for a business if you truly have a passion for it.) Spend a little time on this, after all, your business future could be on this page!

Now once you have a nice long list, narrow it down to your four favorite choices.

At this point you may have one or two things that you know are your passion. Perhaps everyone knows you are a passionate skydiver, and that made your top four. You live for it, you love it, and you know a lot about it. Start with this subject.

Notice that I keep mentioning some pretty varied passions…this is just to show you, you are not limited on the net to certain kinds of businesses. If there is a market, and people want to know and learn about a subject, there is a way to make money from it!

Now we are going to take your passions and see if there is a market for them, and a fair chance at a profit. Using a keyword tool such as that at Inventory.Overture.com, type in the keywords for your subject. Keywords are the words someone might use in a search engine while searching for info on your subject. For instance, TheBudgetDecorator.com’s most popular keywords are “budget decorating” and “decorating on a budget”. When I punch those into a keyword tool, it tells me there have been thousands of searches for those keywords. That tells me there is a market. However, if your subject is “mating habits of North American Widgets”… chances are, the searches are going to be very small, which means, no market. While it’s important to pick a subject for your business you have passion for, it’s equally, if not more important that you will have people out there who want to be your customer! If your first subject choice turns out to have a small market, no problem, you have four more to consider! Do keyword searches on all four, than see if you can choose one based on the market size, and your preferences. If you can’t, go back to your list and pick four more choices!

Narrow the list down, and you will hit on a passionate subject with potential for profit…your new business!

Making Money on the Internet: Planning an Online Business

With the Internet growing at a very rapid pace, there is today, more than ever, an abundance of opportunities to make money. The lure of such plentiful opportunity is drawing hundreds of thousands to quit their regular jobs and start their own online businesses. By establishing their own venture, they hope to make money on the worldwide web.

You should consider starting your own venture as well, but perhaps you should be more circumspect about it than other people. Too many people begin an online business and later abandon it, usually because it has become tedious and is not making any money. To avoid this, you will want to engage in some careful planning. Planning may seem like a lot of work in the beginning, but it has the potential to save you years of hard, unproductive work.

Before you begin, clarify in your mind exactly what you want to accomplish. Your goals will determine the path that you will take, so you should think over what is important to you. For instance, if your immediate concern is paying the bills, then quitting your day job should not be an option for you. Online businesses usually take a period of time before they “take off” and make money. So if you are in immediate financial straits, don’t expect your online business to provide the solution. It would be better to work on it on a part-time basis. If, however, your goal is to be financially self-sufficient in a few years, that is something that an online business can help you with.

Your first online business must be immediately related to something that you love. This is to ensure that you are able and willing to work on it in your spare time. If your business is something that tires you or bores you, you are in the wrong business. A majority of businesses fail during the first two years after inception, mostly because its owners are no longer willing to put in the work needed to make it grow. By picking an area in which you have a natural affection and aptitude in, you will increase the chances of making your online business more than just passing fancy.

Take advantage of the numerous ideas available today. Successful businesses are usually those who take an idea and apply them at opportune times. If you perceive a specific need in the market that is not being filled, proceed to attempt and fill that need. Your idea does not necessarily have to be original to be successful; you can also borrow ideas from a variety of fields and apply them wherever you think appropriate .

Operating an internet business online will not be easy. Like any other business, you will need to work hard and long to make it viable. However, by taking the time to think and organize your thoughts from the very beginning, you will find that your subsequent tasks become simpler. Be prepared, and you cannot fail to succeed.

Internet Business Experimenting

I had been trying to do some small business since I was in university time. However after I graduated and start my full-time career, I found it difficult to start a business as most traditional business:

1. Need a lot of time to run
2. Need some big amount of start up capital

So instead of starting my own business, I try to go into investment. I have try to invest in stock markets and properties. But both are just a starting point. As I continue in investing, I need more fund for my investment capital. Although my current job salary is ok, but I wanted to get some other streams of income so that I won’t be solely depends on my main income.

After long long time of searching, I discovered internet-base business. The good things of internet-base business is that it can be start on part-time basis and there is no need big amount of startup capital to start with. Futher more internet-base business has a lot of revenue potential with passive income. However there are so many ways to make money online, just far too many expert claim that they can tell you how to make money online. The more I read, the more I become confuse. I know that I will need to pick only 1 and 2 to focus on it. So I figure out a few that are suitable for my situation:

1. Affiliate Marketing
2. Create and sell e-book

The strategy are the same, I need to find a niche market with something that I expert with and write about it. If people find my knowledge useful to them, then they will come.

For affiliate marketing mainly the strategy is to provide good content to pre-sell my affiliate product. There are so many affiliate programmes out there like amazon.com, richdad.com, ebook products, health products and many other products. So I need to find a niche market and create a good content site to presell those affiliate product. However a good content site needs a lot of writing and good knowledge on the niche market. Consideration like what domain name to choose, what keyword that people are searching are also important. One of the hosting that specialize in creating content site that I know of is site build it:

http://www.sitesell.com/

Below are some of the good content sites created on site build it:

anguilla-beaches.com
cheap-computers-guide.com
jugglenow.com
rent-a-villa-in-tuscany.com
4-small-businesses.com
about-personal-growth.com
writinghelp-central.com
eazigoal.com
subconscious-secrets.com

Another focus is to create and sell an e-book using a killer sales letter. For this one I really need to be real expert in the subject that I write. Below are some of the killer sales letter that sells e-book:

http://www.senze.com/16/
http://www.taichibreathing.com/
http://www.7dayebook.com/
http://www.goals-2-go.com/goals2006/goals2006.htm

Currently these are the directions that I will focus on. Since I am a beginner in this I will keep on experimenting until I find a way that works for me.

How To Start an Internet Business – The First Step

The vast majority of web sites are destined to fail before they are even built. Why? Because people building sites almost always put the cart before the horse. Actually, most don’t even include the horse.

Evolution of Your Site

New sites follow a typical evolutionary process.

1. The first stage involves slaving over the design of the site to get just the right look;

2. The second stage is the publication of the site;

3. Third comes the first thought about how to get traffic to the site;

4. Fourth, the discovery of pay-per-click options;

5. Fifth, the pursuit of PPC campaigns and realization of sales!;

6. Sixth, the “misery stage”, occurs with the realization that sales are being made at a loss!;

7. Frustration, frustration, frustration;

8. The “extinction stage” - With profitability seeming impossible, the PPC campaigns are closed and the site just sits there.

Does any of this sound familiar? You need not suffer this evolutionary extinction! Taking one step before you build a site can save you a lot of wasted time and money.

If You Build It, Will They Come?

The first step to developing a successful web site is keyword analysis. Keywords are the anchors of each page of your site, a collective summary of your products and services.

The first step to developing an online business is to identify whether there is sufficient traffic for your business product or service. Let’s look at a very simple example.

If your are selling boating products, each page of your site should incorporate boating-related keyword phrases. You must analyze whether there is a sufficient number of searches each month to make your boating site a viable entity. A free method for doing this is to use the Overture inventory tool:

http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

In our example, we would do a search for “boating” to see how many searches there are for the keyword as well as other boating-related keyword phrases. A quick search shows there were over 100,000 searches for “boating” and over 4,000 searches for “boating supply” in March 2005. These numbers suggest that there clearly is enough traffic to build a site selling boating products.

Alternatively, assume that we want to build a site promoting our hiking guide service in Nevada. If we do a search for “Nevada hiking” using the Overture inventory tool, we find that there are only 100 or so searches a month. Should we go ahead and build the site? Probably not. There simply isn’t enough interest to justify spending the time and money.

Unfortunately, we often talk with site owners that have spent significant amounts of money building a site only to find that there is little interest in their product or service. By performing keyword analysis, you can determine whether a site should be built before you spend the time, energy and money on it. There is little reason to build a site that has no chance of success.

Your Visitors Want to be Blown Away!

Today I stumbled upon a cool music player – it worked so well, it was so easy and intuitive – it simply delivered. In fact it was quite remarkable. Take a look at that word – remarkable! Remark-able, yes, I was able to make voluntary, un-coerced positive remarks to my friends. They also liked it and may just tell their friends. What makes one website/product so remarkable? Well simply put when a website solves a problem, meets a need or satisfies a want, it’s likely to be a good site. However a remarkable site does all that so well that it literally over-delivers, surpasses all expectations and makes its visitors feel good just for finding it. In what way is your site, your product remarkable?

Why do you care? Because you want traffic, traffic, traffic. A good site may only convert 2- 5% of its traffic, so the higher your traffic, the more you sell. But other than positive, pervasive word of mouth you will have to work or pay for that traffic. I say work because there are some ways of generating traffic that don’t cost much money – rather they demand time and effort.

One of the best ways to draw people to your site is through original content, articles specifically. There are hundreds of sites dedicated to article postings and within your ‘author bio’ you can post the link back to your site. People go online primarily for content. They are looking for answers, looking for ideas and solutions – sure some people are just bored and browsing, but your potential clients will only exchange their hard earned money for the promise that your product will get them closer to their goal. If you can write articles that show you understand them and that you have a special insight into their interests, they may in return believe in your product enough to give it a try.

You can also write some press releases. A press release is nothing more than a written announcement that discusses something exciting and hopefully newsworthy about your business. Typically it will have contact information so that any member of the press can easily reach you in case they have questions. There are many press release sites that can educate and help you spread your news.

These ideas are just the tip of the marketing strategy iceberg. You ought to find a mentor who can help you do all the above and more. Remember – be remarkable. Let’s give them something to talk about!

The only way to make money on the internet

There really is only one way to make money on the internet -- sales.

Really it is the truth. Of course there are a lot of different variations in how and what you sell on the internet and another dramatic difference is the lack of the dreaded cold-calling forced on so many traditional sales folks.

At first glance your choices are pretty straightforward:

~ Sell other people's products
~ Sell your own products
~ Sell yourself
~ Sell space on your web site, blog, or publication

Then things start to get complicated.

Even something as simple as selling products created by others takes on some unique twists on the internet and can quickly lead to complicated decisions. This choice falls into four main areas:

~ Selling as an affiliate to earn commission on each sale (you deliver customer to vendor)
~ Selling unlimited electronic products as a reseller to earn 100% profit on each sale (you are directly involved in sale)
~ Selling a limited number of products you bought at wholesale to earn the difference between your cost and the sale price (you are directly involved in sale)
~ Selling as a drop shipper to earn a percentage of each sale (you are the middle man in transaction)

Each method offers its own blend of benefits and drawbacks and you need to decide which suits your experience, time, and interest.

Selling your own products can be complicated as well by the need to organize issues such as payment processors and affiliate programs and advertising as well as customer service.

Selling yourself offers advantages in that you don't need to deal with many of the problems involved in products -- such as payment processors, large numbers of customers and all the complications that entails -- but it can also be limiting (you only have so many hours in the day to accomplish the tasks or jobs that you take on) and requires the need for regular promotion to build and maintain your client base.

Finally selling advertising such as banners or text links or offering contextual or pay-per-click or pixel advertising can be a much simpler method of earning money but in order to earn a decent income from this source you must continually work to build and promote your web site, blog, and/or publication. Web sites and blogs that don't consistently offer new, quality content quickly slip in search engine status and the loss of traffic then income follows even faster than you can say search engine optimization.

That is just a quick overview of the income opportunities available to you on the internet. Good luck with your new internet business whichever choice you make.

The Power of Joint Venture.

what is a joint venture?
Although it is the key to increase your profit and your time off (you sell while you are doing nothing), joint venture is the biggest unused marketing technique.
It is a complete win-win situation, and it can be your most powerful tool to succeed online.

The reason why people do not start joint venture is that they are intimidated .
There is different ways to start a joint venture.
Find someone in your niche and try to establish a relationship with him, it is much better than trying to do everything by yourself, and you will see amazing results.
You can search for partners in different forums, there is a lot of forums out there, just search for them in the major search engines.
You can get other website send emails to their list, and place links on their webpages, and pay them only when they make a sale!
You must give a high commission to your joint venture partners; 50% or more.
You should not give them additional work to sell your products, but you should do all the work for them. They will only have to follow your instructions step by step, and the sales will go on.

Prepare for your partner the following:
The email promotions, the text links and banner ads, the classifieds ads, a product review, the Pay-Per-Clicks campaigns, The famous pop up windows, the product images...
When you do that, your partner will be more eager to sell your products, because it becomes a no brainer, and no time is needed to succeed.

A good joint venture will help you to have a fast track start, even if you don' t have a list or a product, because other people will sell the product to their list.
You should understand that other people in your niche are not competitors, but actually they are your partners.
Remember: other people is the way to succeed in your business.

Why is selling information so profitable?

We live in the era of information. Something that characterizes this period of time is that humanity increasingly seeks knowledge. People want to know how to solve their problems. They turn to the internet to find a solution. They read books, attend seminaries, take courses and study to improve and develop their knowledge about certain field or they overall cultural and intellectual skills.

This is the era of the intellectual. One of the best things you can own is intellectual property. People turn to the Internet to find specialized knowledge about specific topics. They are starving for information. Those who can provide them a solution to their problems may capitalize on it and make literally fortunes.

Informational products are in high demand today. Combine that with the fact that shipping, production and distribution costs for these products are virtually nonexisting for these products. Also some intangible goods that are traded on the Internet today are still overpriced compared with their tangible counterparts.

This is because many products are sold based on people’s emotions. They need to pay before they can see what they get. It has being said that selling e-books is one of the most profitable Internet businesses that you can start. You can self publish your e-books and own everything: the copyright, the publishing and most of the royalties.

There have never being a better time to become an author than now. You don’t have to struggle to find a publisher who will accept your books. You can write it, launch it and see what happens all by yourself, within days.

You can also sell software, computer games, courses, seminaries, etc. All information products are welcome on the Online business world. People do not like to get sold. In the other hand, they find occasionally a product that meets their quality standards and promises to solve their problems, so they give it a try.

This happens everyday. Millions of informational products are sold all over the Internet. This is a multi-billion industry. E-books and software are two of the most purchased products online. People spend lots of money on information. The market is still open for new entrepreneurs because thousands of people join the World Wide Web every day.

As you can see this is one of the most profitable products that you can sell. The great thing is that it is also one of the easiest to create. Now, the question is how do you create those products and start cashing in on this multi-billion industry? If you read my other articles you will find detailed information about this topic.

How To Have Your Own Online Business

So you've decided to have an online business. Before you start having those big cash flow dreams, stop and get some tips for having an online business. There are many internet information resources for doing this sort of thing. However, the basic tips for an online business are very close to those of a traditional business. Here are some basics:

• Write a business plan and revise that plan periodically. Your business plan should be thought of as a living document. As with any business, you will initially find out what works and what does not work and will have to change your plan accordingly.

• Be very careful about buying webspace and pre-packaged website templates for your business (the “we will build your website” people). You'll find that down the road it will be difficult to change the site plus get source code to it. You are better off outsourcing the web design with a freelancer and purchasing your own domain and installing the site yourself.

• Make sure you follow all security measures when running a site that accepts credit cards for purchases.

• If you expect to receive a lot of phone calls, you may want to consider hiring an answering service.

• Run your online business like a business. You will need to discipline yourself with working hours to take care of all offsite matters because you will have them. A lot of people make the mistake of treating their internet business merely as a website, which can be very detrimental because running an online business requires an approach that you would have with an offline business.

• Your marketing plan needs to include search engine optimization (SEO). This is important because you want your site to rank in the top 10 of search engine query results. You would be wise to study SEO techniques or hire the services of a SEO consultant.

• Some other marketing ideas include posting your web address on the back windshield of your vehicle or coordinating with other websites to include a backlink to your site. Word of mouth is always one of the best tools for advertising your site. With the advent of Google Adword, Overture and other similar advertising, it is possible to drive targeted traffic to your site by finding keywords that have very low bids. You will be able to measure your conversion ratio of such traffic with sales in realtime.

Customer service is even more critical as customers do not “see” you and building trust with them is a little harder. Performance builds trust.

Which Product should you sell on Internet?

If you sell or intend to sell on the web, with your website or on ebay, you must sell digital info products, like ebooks, software...

Do you now what the best product to sell on the Internet today?
You may have your own home business, with or without success, but now, you do not have time to spend with your family, friends, because you can' t move from your computer, waiting for customers queries, taking care about shipping, orders...
This is what I have just discovered in a unique video tutorial program ( you will not find this anywhere). You must sell an INFO PRODUCT.
Well, you may ask what the heck is INFO PRODUCT.
INFO PRODUCT is THE product to sell on the Internet

Why INFO PRODUCTS?
Because it is what Internet surfers want: Informations, informations and informations! You will have more benefits with INFO PRODUCT than any other product! Those are YOUR benefits with an INFO PRODUCT:
Low cost to create. It is fast and easy to create. You have an unlimited inventory. You do not need to manufacture. It is delivered automatically because it is a digital product.
You just create it, then upload it, and you have now your product ready to deliver and be transformed in a money machine.
This is what we will call your ASSET.

Now the customer benefits:
The product he ordered is delivered immediately on his desktop
and ready to use. He doesn't need to go out from home. Most of the prospects on the Internet are impulsive buyers, they want it know and tomorrow will be too late. There are many others benefits...

Where can you find info products?
The best of all is that those info products, you can find them in yourself, for instance, you have a passion, something that you learned. You can transform that knowledge into an Ebook. Let' see now some type of info product:
You could sell an e book, or an audio product, or a video product.
Do not forget, that step is crucial:
You must have an USP to succeed.
Well, you want to know... It is your Unique Selling Proposition. I mean that it will be your product, your unique proposition to the prospects. That will really make the difference.
I hope that you enjoyed the first lesson, and that all those
benefits will make your Internet marketer life better.

What My Friend Taught Me!

If you are anything like me, you’ve always wanted to discover a way to have an extra stream of monthly income. But what I didn’t want was another job! I wanted money rolling-in around the clock, 24/7. No matter what I was doing or where I was spending my time. I wanted more money, I needed more money to pay my bills! If this is what you are looking for, then this will be the most exciting article you’ll ever read!

You see I wanted something that I could set-up and just let it run on auto-pilot. Something that wouldn’t really require much work, something I could put together during my spare time. My goal was just to obtain an extra $500 a month.

Within 60 days of starting, I couldn’t believe all the money I had made!

Think about where you are today financially… Don’t let yourself in up like all those people still working 9-5 for a living. I think its call a JOB (just over broke). Today more then ever you can’t count on your company to be there when you need them! You must think for the future and create your own retirement. With the price of everything always going up (especially gas) your going to need extra money to help pay those bills.

The other nice thing about this extra income avenue is you can do it whenever you have some spare time. There’s no deadline to meet. Don’t have to drive to get there. Best of all… There’s no boss to answer too! Heck, if you focused yourself, you could be making a full time income in no time at all. That’s where I’m at today!

What I wanted to share with all of you is starting your very own online Internet Home Business. Start it right from home, while watching your favorite TV show. My friend shared with me his 10-step Work At Home plan. And I want to share what I learned with you!

You can do this without a college education, experience, a large amount of capital, raw talent or luck…

Belief enough in yourself to take a chance. Enough to put the principles into action. That’s all it takes a little effort. And in no time at all you'll be more than half way to a lifestyle most people can only dream about.

Good luck and much success to everyone!

How can you increase your profits?

It is one of the most important question that you should ask yourself, and know.
There is only two ways to increase your profits, and we will review them here.
You need first to get more visitors, and in a second time, you need to increase the SPV.

Let' s focus now on the first point: get more visitors.
There is a lot of way to do that, some of them are crucial for your business, while the others are optional; but you need to test them all and focus on the one you like, after you know it is something working for you.
then you will know what is working and what is just wasting of your valuable time.
You can:
buy targeted hits (traffic ) for your website, or send email to your opt in mailing list. (an opt-in mailing list represent a list of customers who agreed from your website form or -other source- to receive informations for you, or offers, it could be an e-zine, or newsletter,...).

What is important is that you will not be subject to SPAM complains.
You can pay someone else a commission on sales generated by having him sending massages to his own opt-in list. It is a JV, Joint Venture.
You may pay a fee to put a banner on another website,
or pay someone a commission on sales generated to put a banner, ad or link to his website;
you can submit links to your website to search engines,
or exchange links with other websites;
an option is also viral marketing: you release a free report that contains links to your website and allow website in your niche market to give it away.
You will reach a amazing number of people with that method alone.
You may set up your own affiliate program.
As you can see, increase your traffic is not impossible, and there is numerous ways to do it.

You will need also to increase your SPV(sales per visitor), which is the second way to increase your profits in any business you are involved in, online or offline.

So go on and make some profits.

Minggu, 09 Januari 2011

The way to have a higher SPV.

Increase your profits as we have seen in the first part of our lesson is easy if you know how to do it.
We have seen that we need to get more visitors; and now we will learn that we eed to increase the SPV.
SPV means: Sale Per Visitor.
The concept is that with the same number of visitors, you close more sales. You will need to know how to calculate a conversion rate.

But don' t worry, no need to be a crack in mathematics, there are very good softwares out there to track your advertising, and they will automatically calculate your conversion rate for you, and many more data that you will need later, as you become an expert affiliate.

Explanation of the conversion rate(CV):
A certain percentage of people will buy something from your site.
For example: for 100 prospects, 5 buy your product: 5/100 = 0.05% = CV.
A good CV is between 1% to 10%.
It is very important to increase your SPV.
Here is different ways to do that:
add web pages to your website, add new products to your website, update your webpage by testing it, add audio to your website, add testimonial, tweak existing content on your website, add paragraph to existing sales letters, add more content to your business, add software that shows you if the changes you made make you money...

The more words, webpages, and free products you provide to your potential customers, the better it is.
You will need also to increase the sign up conversion rate.
It is the number of person who will give you their email address, so you can follow up with an 7 days course, or ezine, or newsletter, and then...close the sale.
A good sign up conversion rate is between 10% and 33%.
Now you must act and try yo increase your SPV.

How To Start An Internet Business (When You Are Already A Full Time Mom!)

I have had my own internet business for over 8 years now, and I get many women asking how I do it, being a full time Mom to 5 kids and three stepkids, besides! There are some tricks to the trade, so if you are thinking about starting your own business, but have held back because your Mom job comes first, have hope. There are ways you can do it all, and everybody benefits!

Tip #1 First, I have to admit, I am a fan of Dr. Phil. You may have heard one of his catchphrases…”If Mom ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy!” There is a good measure of truth to this statement. Let’s face it, most stay at home parents are still Moms. And lets face this too…if you are a stay at home Mom, YOU are the heart of your home. So if you are feeling like you deserve more for yourself…well, you do. EVERY stay at home Mom deserves top have something of her own, that helps identify her as a person separate from the squabbles and the dirty socks. And if you don’t have something of your own, chances are, you resent it. And if you don’t,.you probably will. So starting a business of your own is a good step towards creating that autonomy that we all need as humans. (Yes, you are still human, even at the 3 am feedings!) Everyone benefits from Mom expanding her world and her life…both emotionally and financially. So tip #1? Let go of the guilt and the martyrdom…start something for yourself!

Tip #2 If the whole idea of starting your own business overwhelms you because you already have a sink full of two days worth of dishes and haven’t slept in 2 years…never fear. You just need a plan. Learn to organize your time, delegate tasks, and eliminate the unnecessary. There are many websites dedicated to helping you find your path, and getting you into a place where you suddenly find all that lost time! Try www.organizedhome.com and www.flylady.net to get you started.

Tip #3 Lastly, you need to learn to believe in yourself, and take your own path. You don’t have to be running a Fortune 500 company in order to be successful. You can work an online business part time until the children are all in school, and adjust your time at the job to how much money you need to make, and how much time you have. Women are the fastest growing group of business owners, and the day has come for you to believe you can have what you want in this life, without sacrificing your family to do it. You were put here for a reason…and while your children may be your primary purpose, realize that you also have a tremendous ability to touch others lives as well. Now find out how you are going to do that, and make a way for yourself!

What is a Niche Market?

First of all, we should understand what is a niche market.
It is a group of people with common interest, a group who has the same hobbies, or the same social background, ethnicity. They will have the same desires and need. Each niche need informations and solution to their problems, and it is an extremely targeted market.

Your roleas an Internet marketer start here. How? You will give them what they want. Not something you are trying to sell to that niche by a forcing or a massive attack, but something they have to buy. Something you discovered that is vital for that niche. For example, you can' t come with the latest karate gi (kimono for the non martial artists), and present that gi with a massive advertising campain to a football team? You will spend tons of money, and you won' t make any sale. But if you understand the needs of that niche, what they are passionate about, what they are dreaming of...
Now you will come with products they simply can' t live without.
That' s powerful, you will have literally nothing to do to sell. Just present them the products, and that' it they come like the mouse follow that peace of cheese, they rush from everywhreto buy from you, they are complaining because your product is not available in their country, they advertise your products to their nichemates; the effect is viral.
It leads to residual income, because these people will buy from you other and other, they have no choice, no alternative, they can' t miss that.
Now I hope you understand why you have to target a specific niche with the specific product, the big deal.

So let' s resume:
Find a niche market, it' s easy on the web, you have all the tools that you need for free or small fee. Find out what they want. Present them a product that satisfies their needs.
Come to them with convenience: come with something they are searching for, for days or months, or they already found it, but you come with a new one, more sophisticated, who fit exactly their needs, the answer to their questions, take a old product who worked in the past in that niche and make a survey to find what you will add to this product or remove from it which will make the difference.
Or you can come with a very new concept that they maybe was not aware of.
Think about the cellular phone, people din' t know 10 years ago that it will be crucial to have a cellular phone. Who can leave without a cellular phone today?
Do your homework now, and find what people want.

How To Start An Online Business

Starting off a fresh online business may seem intimidating at times, especially to the greenhorns in the field of Internet. However, with a planned approach and diligent effort, the procedure may well boil down to a much easier chore. Here I present the first in a series of articles that will assist you to establish a strong online presence. Unequivocally, there are four ways that you could commence your online business, and they are as follows:-

a) Start from scratch – You can formulate your own product or service to sell. You might be enticed to follow other eminent businesses and develop a similar product to theirs. However, nothing sells better than a novel concept. So, try carrying out a preliminary market research in order to feel the pulse of the market. This would enable you to establish a healthy customer base, which is critical to boosting your online business.

b) Start away with affiliate marketing – If you are on a shoestring budget and cannot develop your own product from scratch, then affiliate marketing is a viable option for you. You can market the products of a well-renowned company through affiliate programs. The company would typically dole out commissions on each sale accomplished by you.

c) Start an online business by reselling – You can buy hot selling products at wholesale prices from a well established organization. Then onwards you can sell them at retail by promoting them at your website.

d) Start an online venture via direct sales – You may become an affiliate of a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company. You can market their products and earn commission on sales accomplished by you. Affiliates signup through an existing member, who is typically placed above them in the distributor hierarchy. That is, the sponsor earns higher commission than a fresh entrant.

An online business can be quite lucrative if planned with discretion. In general, astute investments do pay heavy returns. It is imperative that you realize the importance of choosing a viable online business. The choice of an online business should be made, bearing in mind the resources in hand and the existing business milieu.

Freelancing - The Way Forward for Webmasters

Ten years ago the internet was in its infancy. Computer science was hardly a proper, or prudent, choice of career for the serious person. Those who tended to enrol themselves in such courses were expected to end up with jobs as computer technicians and nothing more than that. Such careers had no particular gravitas – but all that has changed.

The modern world is a global village and this is thanks to the internet above all else. Markets have been made available that would hitherto have been hidden – and the field is rife with potential for success. Companies are slowly catching up to this latent hegemony – and the power that lies beneath the fingertips is being recognised internationally from governments downwards.

Small and large companies alike are vying for pole position in attempting to capture the imagination of the huge international markets. Such demographics have enormous spending power as is evidenced by the success of firms such as Ebay and Amazon. With costs kept so low compared to more conventional brick and mortar businesses, there is little wonder as to why so many companies have ‘gone online’. Even the humble webmaster working from his garage or bedroom can make millions, most recently the school student Alex Tew made his first million by selling pixel adverts! He sold one million pixels in half a year!

Competition is tough however – everyone wants a slice of the advertising potential of the internet. Markets can be powerful yet fickle and attempts to capitalise on these new areas can be fraught with danger for the inexperienced.

Great emphasis is now placed on the visible branding of a company. Web designers and developers convey specific messages to their audiences – working as both artists and public relations officers in their quest to secure leads for their clients by producing enticing and practical designs and structures.

The humble computer graduate has never been so eagerly sought after. A whole new breed of web developers has sprung up. There is now a work force of eager, attentive, enthusiastic and energetic freelancers available to the savvy employer. Vitally, these individuals tend to opt for this type of work not out of a need for profit, or a lack of choice, but because they actively enjoy web design and development. You cannot pay for such devotion in most other fields of work.

It’s the win-win situation to beat all others. There has never been a better time to hire freelance web designers and developers – and it has never been such a good time to be one! Many have noted the irony that has befallen the career of the computer science expert – now the most coveted of all professions.

Powerful Tools: Outsourcing and Hiring Freelancers

Knowing your limitations is the subtle art to being a webmaster. Knowing when to do the work yourself and when your time is better spent on other things is a skill in itself! Investing in the expertise of a freelancer can save you money and time. But where do you find them? Fortunately there are sites that do the hard work for you – where freelancers meet to fight for the privilege to work for you!

Free Stuff = Solid Profits

Here is a well-known, but little used fact: People like free things. If you went to a street corner and started handing out staples, people would line up to take them from you. This is true even if you were giving away something they don’t need. If you told them the staples cost $2, they would feel proud of having snagged one for free.

Now what would happen if you gave out something that people actually wanted, that they actually wanted to pay for, even stand in line for. In fact, we assume that if something is given away free then it must be inherently invaluable about it. When we receive something that we know has value, either in dollars or in its interest to us, we not only remember who gave it to us, but we actually feel indebted to them.

Seth Godin is the author of an amazing book called ‘the ideadvirus’. In that book, to simplify, he states that in order to quickly spread a message (virus), one needs to give something of value away, make it significant enough that others spread it on your behalf, and if the message is ‘virus-worthy’ it will quickly spread through a group without much work from you. How can you profit from this? Read the book. To illustrate this, Seth gave the whole book away free on his site, asking only for emails in return and he asked readers to forward the book onto friends and workmates. Knowing the crowd he was looking infect with his virus, he knew that if they liked what they read – they would want to tell people and boast of what they smartly found for free. He actually had about 400 000 downloads in the first few weeks, and just before you think he made no money: when he released the hardcover through amazon.com, it climbed to the top of its sales charts. In fact people who had bought the ebook version, went and purchased the hardcover – they felt like they owed Seth. This was a 400 page book… I read it, twice – it was that good, and proof of the actual theory he was exposing.

Be aware that what is free for your visitors will cost you something – it will cost you in your bandwidth/hosting costs, it will definitely cost you something in terms of time and effort to produce the site and the very thing you give away – but if you play the strategy right, it can pay off well. Get a good idea of what you are trying to accomplish, and determine what you can do or give away to help you grow.

1. get something of value to your audience
2. Get them to give you something in return – their email and their friends email
3. Give them permission and instructions on how to share that free download.
4. Encourage, or reward those who share that download (sometimes if your stuff is good – the pride of sharing something great is enough to motivate people – but it has to be amazing!)
5. With all the awareness, buzz and traffic you generate – find away of profiting from that.

It’s not hard, but its easy to get greedy and mess up the strategy. In fact it takes a lot of courage to do this. You will be giving away something you could be earning from – Seth Godin gave up 500,000 potential sales – instead he had 500,000 advertisers who willingly and honestly spreading the word in a well defined market which resulted in sales of that book – and with his new popularity, many others. By the way, I don’t think its free anymore. It doesn’t need to be… companies actually buy books by the box for all their marketing employees. How did that happen? Because some net savy marketing VP downloaded the book – loved it, and bought a hard copy for his CEO, who thought it was brilliant and ordered it for everyone… and the waves of impact spread. You can do this too!

Ever Thought of Running a Poker Website?

Running your own poker website can be very profitable and a lot of fun. In the current climate of uncertainty in the employment market, starting and running your own poker web site offers a realistic way to make a very good monthly income that is both sustainable and constantly increasing.

These days more and more people are turning towards the internet to find ways of making extra cash or even to make a full time income and one of the best is to start a poker information website.

There are numerous advantages to starting a poker website; an enormous customer base, flexibility, the fact that you can start with virtually no money at all, and best of all - the chance to make a really good income online.

Now there are some truly awful poker sites out there but that is in fact a great advantage for you if you decide to build your own poker site. The fact that so many poker websites are of very poor quality means that you can build up a strong and loyal following just by offering a service that is better than the majority of the rubbish out there.

People search the internet for one thing above all others, and that of course is information. If they are looking on the web to learn more about their favorite poker player they want to go to a site where there is some decent, well written content. If they find what they are looking for then they will come back again and you will have gained a loyal customer.

If on the other hand they are taken to a page where there's nothing of interest and all the site is doing is trying to sell them something, they will leave quickly and probably never return.

Once you have enticed your visitors in to look at your site and they have found valuable information, they will be in a mood that is more predisposed towards buying so if you do have something to sell, you are far more likely to buy it.

So provide valuable information for your visitors and you will be miles ahead of all the other junk and spam poker sites out there.
